The trash dump is located on Back Mountain Road (Rt. 600) on Bowman Street just past Tom’s Market. Please don’t forget to recycle!
The Winchester Post Office will provide you with instructions on getting your mailbox and key.
The lake is available for your pleasure from dawn to dusk. Closed at dark (no alcoholic beverages). Swimming and fishing at your own risk. The lake is located at the end of Cougar Trail.
The playground and picnic pavilion is located at the lake. A short hike will take you to the waterfalls, the highest in Virginia. A small basketball & volleyball court are also available.
No ATV’s allowed on the roads or other common areas in accordance with the state law.
Your invoice for annual dues & assessments are due the first of each year.
As required by the Fire Department and Frederick County, please have your address posted on your house and/or entrance of your driveway. This is in compliance with 911 procedures.
If you are leasing/renting your house, please notify the office with the name and address of the person(s) residing in your home.
Mt. Falls Park is zoned R5 – Residential/Recreational Community. Therefore camping is permitted. Campers may NOT set up a permanent camping arrangement with campers, tents or trailers. They must be removed when camping trip/visit is over. Campers that are NOT self-contained must have some type privy that has been approved by County.
Permanent structures for residence include stick built homes and modular homes (BOCA approved). All residential structures must have running water and a septic system approved by the County.
Mt. Falls is patrolled by the County Sheriff’s Office. This includes, but is not limited to, no hunting, no speeding, no drinking in public (lake/park); no ATV’s on road or common areas. Residents should also be aware that the County has a noise ordinance. This ordinance is applicable from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
